Exhale Conclusion
38,000+ words, 131 audio tracks, and two years later I’m finally close to closing the book on Exhale. When I had this idea in October of 2020, I had no idea the scope it would take on. I wanted to write some guided meditations and I knew I wasn’t too skilled at meditation or meditations, so I brought on some parternes with more experience (Bunny Luna and Lior Allay). Little did I know how valuable an editor would be (thank you so many times Douglas Tormey). Doug edited both written word and listened to the audio files I edited myself. One of my heroes in the completion of this project is Trevor Christensen, a talented audio editor who cut the files on Exhale: Guided Meditations to Help Ease Stress, Reduce Anxiety, and Bring Inner Peace and Exhale: Finding Your Breath: Breathing Exercises to Help You Learn to Meditate. Finding Your Breath was the last piece of this audio project to be recorded and after I edited Exhale: 21 Day Guided Meditation Challenge, I was pretty sure I didn’t want to edit another audiobook. I did learn some basic audio editing skills, but my patience isn’t as long as the files I make! I was glad to hand the work off to be in better editing hands. Another unexpected turn was finding three side ideas that turned into albums themselves: Wim Hof Style Guided Meditations, Focused Meditations for Healing: Six Second Breath Cycles with Singing Bowls, and Meditation Music Global Coherence.
